Advanced IGF

Advanced training for service on ships subject to the IGF Code for masters, officers and all personnel with immediate responsibility for the care and use of fuels and fuel systems.
The participant attends a training course in accordance with Regulation V/3, Section A-V/3 Nr.2 of the International Convention on Standards of Training, Certification and Watchkeeping for Seafarers, 1978 as amended. Two bunkering operations have been simulated; one bunkering operation on board is still required together with one month of appropriate seagoing service.
