Resource Management
We offer various options to undergo a resource management training:
Maritime Competence Course (MCC)
Bridge Team Management / Maritime Resource Management including simulator Training.
According to Regulation II/1 paragraph 2.5 and II/2 paragraph 2.2 of the International Conventionon Standards of Training, Certification and Watchkeeping of Seafarers, 1978, as amended in 1995 (STCW Convention) and Sections A-II/1, A-II/2, A-VIII/2, B-VIII/2 of the STCW Code.
This course has been developed by Hartmann Reederei and sources of TUI fly, using the attendance of a psychologist for the analysis and support of human behaviour under stress.
Bridge Team Management and Shiphandling Course
The increasing traffic density on waterways leads to complex situations. Nowadays, managing bridge teams is inalienable and thus, personal skills and effective resource planning are key elements of a successful management. In order to handle extreme, uncommon, but realistic scenarios, training and exercises are very important in the shipping business. The simulator offers the opportunity to train these skills. Furthermore the simulator supports increase efficiency as well as safety and security.
